PensionBee, a leading online pension provider, has won the ‘European Pensions Innovation Award’ at the European Pensions Awards 2020 (1).
The European Pensions Awards celebrate excellence in European pension provision, and were launched to give recognition to and honour the investment firms, consultancies and pension providers across Europe that have set the professional standards in order to best serve European pension funds over the past year.
PensionBee was recognised for displaying ‘true innovation by filling a gap in the market to meet customer needs, achieving impressive results along the way’.
Other finalists in the ‘European Pensions Innovation Award’ category included one of the industry’s biggest names in pensions - Aviva. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 13th Annual Award ceremony was announced online and celebrated winners across 38 different categories.
2020 has been a milestone year for PensionBee having been named ‘DC Pension Provider of the Year’ at the UK Pensions Awards and ‘Employer of the Year’ at the FT Adviser Diversity in Finance Awards. PensionBee also received an award for ‘Pensions Innovation’ at the inaugural Finder Investing & Saving Innovation Awards in September.
