How do established financial brands see fintech (financial technology) companies and how do they plan to react to the changes they bring to the landscape? That was the main question debated during a KPMG Tech Growth event in London on Monday evening.
Romi Savova, CEO of PensionBee, discussed with fellow panel members the growth of the ‘roboadvice’ industry (which everyone agrees is a terrible term!), the challenges of growing and how the incumbents in the industry are responding.
The key take-away was the extent to which established industry players and start-ups alike are trying to improve the customer experience. This includes using technology to build better interfaces, but also thinking about the processes that firms use and how well they treat their customers.
